Such a prestigious feat isn’t a rare coincidence; according to the team’s captain Saravana Anbarasu, “The reason for this continued success was mainly the team-building we had this year. The bonds we had created within the team brought us closer to each other and made this effort more than just tennis.” At least once a week the meet met for dinner at local restaurants or players homes which created a bond that will last beyond the season.

Saravana explains by striving for success as a team, the rewards of this hard work came naturally. “Throughout the season, we focused on the process. Working on every individual step in our tennis game allowed us to truly play in the moment and be less worried about external distractions. By playing in the moment and keeping our shared goals as a team ambitious, we were able to see great success.”

Lead by Coach Paul Foley, the tennis team has been seeing newfound and incredible success in the past few years. The goal is a three peat next year! Congratulations on the seasons success!
